2.What is the default password?
The default password is "*******" (all letters in lowercase).

3.How to reset the password?
Use the "Forgot Password" option and enter your DISE code (School) or College code (PU College) or AISHE code in capital letters. The password will reset to the default password "*******."	Default password: ***** Current password: Your choice (Delete unwanted asterisks (****) before entering the new password) Confirm password: Your choice (retype your new password)

4.What to enter in the enrollment tab?
Schools/colleges should enroll students/localities (without voter IDs) to voter IDs using the VHA App, compile reference numbers, and upload them in the respective tab on the ELCM portal.

5.What to enter in events?
Schools/colleges should plan events according to the election commission's activity calendar for 2024-25 and enter the details in the events tab.

6.What details to enter in the training tab?
Schools/colleges should conduct various ELC activities as per the election commission's calendar of events for 2024-25.

7.How to enter student strength?
Student strength is editable. Enter the total number of boys and girls in the school/college.

8.Whom to choose as ELC Convener and Campus Ambassador?
ELC Convener	Campus Ambassador
One of the teachers in the school/college who will be conducting ELC activities can be nominated as the ELC Convener.	A student who is actively involved in conducting activities should be nominated as the Campus Ambassador. Select one boy and one girl student. If there are no boys in the school/college, select two girls as Campus Ambassadors.

Examples of ELC Activities

Voter Awareness Campaigns:
- Organize workshops and seminars to educate students about the importance of voting.
- Distribute pamphlets and posters about voter registration and election dates.
Mock Elections:
- Conduct simulated elections to demonstrate the voting process.
- Teach students how to fill out a ballot and understand the significance of their vote.
Debates and Discussions:
- Host debates on current political issues or the role of elections in democracy.
- Facilitate group discussions on the impact of voting on local and national levels.
Voter Registration Drives:
- Set up booths or information sessions to assist students and local community members in registering to vote.
- Use the VHA App to help those without voter IDs register.
Guest Lectures:
- Invite election officials or political science experts to speak about the electoral process and civic responsibility.
- Organize talks with local elected representatives to discuss their roles and responsibilities.
Election Commission Activity Calendar:
- Plan and execute events in line with the election commission’s activity calendar for the year.
- Ensure activities are aligned with official guidelines and timelines.
Civic Education Programs:
- Integrate ELC topics into the curriculum through special classes or modules.
- Use multimedia presentations to engage students in learning about elections and governance.
Community Outreach:
- Partner with local organizations to extend voter education beyond the campus.
- Conduct door-to-door campaigns to raise awareness about voting in the community.
Interactive Games and Quizzes:
- Create and play games or quizzes related to the election process, voting rights, and responsibilities.
- Use these activities to make learning about elections fun and engaging.
Social Media Campaigns:
- Utilize social media platforms to spread awareness about voter registration and participation.
- Encourage students to share informative posts and stories about the importance of voting.
